Meleta Brown-Parris
Housing Manager
I have over 20 years Housing experiencing, 18 of which in Housing Management.
I have been blessed to work for both a small and a large organisation, allowing me to see what practices worked best for our tenants and understanding that “doing what everyone else was doing”, was not always the best way to go, but going against the grain to become leaders in our industry.
Before working with Two Rivers Housing, I saw what their vision was and wanted to be a part of it as it aligned with my principles of wanting to provide a safe and warm home for our tenants. Being transparent and honest with them and building a valued community. I want our tenants to be treated how I would want myself, my mother, or a vulnerable family member to be treated and it’s an honour to lead a team towards this vision.

Roxy Light
Housing Manager
I’ve been with Two Rivers Housing for eight years, starting as a Housing Officer for seven years before stepping into my current role as Housing Manager. I’m passionate about housing and about helping people, and I really value meeting tenants, building connections and making a positive difference in people’s lives.
I grew up in a close-knit community in the South Wales Valleys, where community spirit meant everything. That’s stayed with me and continues to shape how I work today. I’m really enjoying supporting our newer neighbourhood managers and helping them grow into confident, capable professionals.
I support neighbourhood managers in Sedbury, Lydney, Cinderford and the areas around Coleford. Outside of work, I have two whippets and a horse, and I love being creative through painting, drawing and sewing.

Anita Mills
Neighbourhood Manager
Hi, my name’s Anita, I go by Neat or Neats. I’ve been with Two Rivers Housing for almost nine years. I originally started in the lettings team before joining the neighbourhood housing team in September last year.
I’m the Neighbourhood Manager for a wide-stretching patch that runs from Sedbury through to Churcham, covering much of the A48. I applied for this role because I genuinely enjoy helping tenants and making a positive difference in people’s everyday lives.
Please feel free to reach out — I’m always happy to help and to pop by and introduce myself.
At home, I live with my husband, our 2.4 children and our nutty little Frenchie. I love holidays, weekends away, concerts and spending time enjoying the beautiful sights of the Forest of Dean.
To contact Anita, you can email anita.mills@2rh.org.uk, or call her extension on: 0 33 33 55 44 33 (4503).

Debra Abbott
Neighbourhood Manager
I joined Two Rivers Housing in August as a Neighbourhood Manager, looking after the Newent, Staunton and Dimmock patch. Before this, I worked as a PCSO with West Mercia Police, and prior to that spent eight years with Stonewater.
I was drawn to Two Rivers because of its strong values and genuine care for tenants. I enjoy engaging with people, helping and empowering them. Here, the tenant is truly at the heart of everything we do, and you can really feel that in the way we work. What makes this organisation unique in housing is that it’s not just about building more homes or focusing on income, it’s about providing good quality homes and real value for money. It’s people over profit.
Outside of work, I love going to music concerts and spending time away with my adult children, who still enjoy coming on holiday with mum. I’m a huge country music fan, especially the classic artists, and I’m thrilled to be heading to Nashville with my daughter to see Alan Jackson on his retirement tour. I was very pleased to secure tickets as there was a lot of competition!

Kath Hamilton
Neighbourhood Advisor
I’ve been with Two Rivers Housing for eight years, and I remain as passionate as ever about supporting people, particularly those facing homelessness. I truly believe everyone deserves to be treated equally and to have a safe, decent place to call home.
My passion comes from personal experience. In the past, I lived in a council property with no heating or double glazing, relying on coal fires. The house was damp, black with mould and had an awful smell. My children had to live with their grandmother because the conditions weren’t suitable. When we raised concerns, we were told the damp was caused by a kettle. Eventually, we became homeless because we simply couldn’t continue living there.
Because of that experience, there is no one I won’t listen to or try to help. Everyone has the right to a home and to be heard. I believe one of the strengths of Two Rivers is that we are small enough to treat people as individuals and genuinely care, which is why I’m still here.
I work across Gloucester, Stroud, Stonehouse, Ledbury and Worcester. Outside of work, I’m kept busy with my five grown-up children and 12 grandchildren, often entertaining them or taking them swimming. I also enjoy horse riding for fun whenever I get the chance.

Leo Kamanga
Neighbourhood Manager
My name’s Leo, and I’m a specialist housing professional with extensive experience across supported housing and neighbourhood services.
What I enjoy most about this work is being able to make a real, practical difference in people’s lives. Housing can be the foundation for stability, confidence and opportunity, and I’m passionate about helping people feel secure and supported in their homes. I believe in a non-judgemental, solutions-focused approach and in building strong relationships with both tenants and colleagues.
Outside of work, I enjoy camping, walking and gardening. I value being outdoors and staying active, as it helps me recharge and keep a positive, balanced outlook.

Sophie Hale
Neighbourhood Manager
I joined Two Rivers Housing at the end of November 2025 as a Neighbourhood Manager, looking after the Cinderford and Littledean patch. I moved from another housing association where I carried out the same role for four to five years, so I bring valuable experience and a strong understanding of neighbourhood management.
Before working in housing, my background was in education and childcare. I’ve worked in residential homes for teenagers, nurseries in early years settings, and as a teaching assistant in a primary school, which has given me a real appreciation for supporting people at different stages of life.
Outside of work, netball is a big part of my life. I play both competitively and for fun. My husband and I got married in 2023, and in November 2025 we bought our first home together – the very same weekend I started at Two Rivers, so it was a very busy and exciting time! We’re currently enjoying decorating and making improvements to make it our own.

Erin Tanswell
Neighbourhood Manager
I’ve lived in the Forest of Dean all my life and went to primary and secondary school here, which means I have a real understanding of the different areas and the people who call them home.
Before becoming a Neighbourhood Manager at Two Rivers Housing, I spent three years as a Boards and Lettings Coordinator at Gloucester City Homes. I was drawn to this work because of my close personal connection to social housing, as my parents were customers. That experience has given me valuable insight and a genuine passion for supporting residents.
I care deeply about making a positive difference locally and love being out and about in the communities and places where I live and work. I recognise that every area has its own character, and that some can feel less connected than others, so I work closely with tenants to encourage involvement and make sure their voices are heard.
In September, I’m planning to run my first half marathon, so if you see me out and about, any tips or words of encouragement would be greatly appreciated!
To contact Erin, you can email erin.tanswell@2rh.org.uk, or call her extension on: 0 33 33 55 44 33 (4508).

Hayden Selwyn
Neighbourhood Manager
Hello, I’m Hayden, your Neighbourhood Manager for Berry Hill, Bream, Christchurch, Clearwell, Edge End, Five Acres, Hereford, Parkend, Redbrook, Ross-on-Wye, Sling, Saint Briavels, Staunton, Whitecroft and Yorkley. I started this role in October 2025 after a friend suggested it would be a great fit for me. Before that, I spent 19 years as a Police Community Support Officer, working closely with local communities. I was also an on-call firefighter for 38 years, leaving the service in 2024.
I was drawn to this role because I value being a consistent, approachable person and understand how important that is for the communities I work in. I’m keen to keep learning and building strong relationships as I continue to grow in the role.
At home, I enjoy family life with my wife and two grown-up daughters, along with our chickens and ducks. You’ll usually find me pottering around, upcycling, making and fixing things. Please do say hello if you see me around!
To contact Hayden, you can email hayden.selwyn@2rh.org.uk, or call his extension on: 0 33 33 55 44 33 (4510).

James Hart
Neighbourhood Manager
I go by the name James, my patches Lydney. I’ve currently joined two rivers from HMPPS background where I worked as a prison officer and probation officer, I saw first-hand the difficulties of being able to gain a property and look after property.
After seeing this in my previous career I wanted to join a Housing Association where I could help address certain issues that people would have in their tenancy or managing the tenancy. I basically wanted to help more and be more in the community; I found that Two Rivers Housing ethos was more suited to me with how I want to work with people in the community of not just seeing them as a 10 seeing them as family and working with them to get the most out of the property and living in the community.
I like to be active in my spare time whether that’s downhill mountain biking, walking or just being outside. I also like to spend time with my three children and enjoy different activities that we can do together as a family.
To contact James, you can email james.hart@2rh.org.uk, or call his extension on: 0 33 33 55 44 33 (4509).
