Getting to know you better
You told us you want to see us more in your neighbourhoods. So, over the last few months, we’ve been looking at how our neighbourhoods team works — and how we can be more visible and accessible.
We know it’s important that you know who to contact if something isn’t right, or if you want to tell us how we can improve. That’s why we’ve increased the size of our neighbourhood management team.
What will happen next?
As part of their role, our Neighbourhood Managers will get in touch to arrange a home visit at a time that suits you.
During the visit, they’ll:
- Want you to get to know them and how they can support you
- Check that everything is okay in your home
- See if there’s anything we can do to better
- Answer any questions you have about your home or our services
They’ll also check that the information we hold about you is up to date and ask if there’s anything we should be aware of when we visit or contact you in future.
You’re always in control — you don’t have to share anything you’re not comfortable with, and you can ask us to skip any question.
With more than 4,600 homes, it’s going to take a bit of time to get to everyone, but the team will also be out and about in our neighbourhoods more often, so you’ll be able to speak to them if you need to.
Why we’re doing this
Getting to know you better helps us to:
- Make sure your home is safe and in good condition
- Understand if you need any extra support
- Allow us to shape our services to your needs
- Make services easier for you to access
Most importantly, you’ll help shape how Two Rivers Housing works for you and your community.
