Ormerod Road, Sedbury
Four blocks of 27 garages were converted to four three-bedroom houses in this development in Sedbury.
The garages needed extensive repair and, given the rising demand for homes in the area, it was decided to demolish the existing buildings and make better use of the land.
The homes were available for affordable rent and Shared Ownership, and completed in April 2014.
Speller Metcalfe Living was the contractor. The properties met the Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3.
