How we are managed: Board and committees

The Two Rivers Housing Group Board

Our Group Board is responsible for setting the direction of Two Rivers Housing. They make sure that we continue to deliver on the promises we make to our tenants. They look at our performance and the risks to the organisation and hold the executive team to account providing direction and challenge to make sure we are doing the right things.

We have 11 Board Members including Audrey James who is also a tenant. They each have knowledge and experience in key areas including housing, customer experience, safeguarding and commercial management.

Alongside the Board we have three committees. These are made up of Board Members and the executive team and provide additional assurance and scrutiny in key areas of the business.

Audit, Risk and Assurance Committee

Led by our Deputy Chief Executive Carol Dover, this committee reviews our performance, monitors risks and is responsible for providing additional assurance to the Board that we are being managed effectively.

Customer, Colleague and Culture Committee

Liz Evans our Executive Director of People and Culture leads this committee. It is made up of Board members and includes a member of our Tenants’ Voice Group. This committee makes sure that the voice of our tenants is heard right across the business and is reflected in the decisions we make.

It also looks at our culture and the experiences of our team to ensure that we continue to listen to their feedback and create a great place to work, where our team can do their best for our tenants.

Assets, Investment and Development Committee

Executive Director of Homes Jonny Jones leads this committee. It has oversight of our development plans, regeneration projects, warmer homes programme and our repairs and maintenance services.

Each of the committees are also responsible for identifying risks and issues in key areas and escalating these to the Board so that action can be taken where needed.
