Hollydean, Cinderford
We demolished 10 properties at this site to make way for 15 new homes – a mix of two-bedroom flats and houses and three-bedroom houses for affordable and social rent.
The project involved moving residents into temporary accommodation to allow their brand new homes to be built
The development completed in August 2013, and four of the previous residents decided to return to Hollydean, moving into their brand new, replacement home.
The other six tenants chose to stay in the home where they had been relocated to during the construction programme.
The Hollydean homes were built to Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3 by the main contractor, KW Bell.
